The hot-stamp machine allows for instant hot foil embossing and printing. In this process, a dye is mounted and heated in a hot stamping machine. The product that needs the stamp is placed under the instrument. The metalized or painted roll-leaf carrier inserted between the two helps in pressing the dye.


Stamping of the product's surface happens with dry paint or foil. The dye-stamping process is non-polluting because the materials used are dry. The relevant sections of the foil separate from the carrier material and get attached to the printing surface under pressure and heat. This technique helps produce business cards, greeting cards, novelty items, and promotional merchandise (plastics, paper, wood, leather, and cloth).
